Proteges of Snoop Doggy Dogg, Long Beach, CA-based duo Tha Dogg Pound teamed rappers Kurupt and Daz Dillinger; after contributing to soundtracks including Above the Rim and Murder Was the Case, they issued their debut LP Dogg Food on Death Row Records in 1995.
