Mdash, half of Platinum Bound Entertainment's NBD, has paid his dues and is now ready to shine as a solo artist. With the eagerly anticipated release of his first album, Po, Broke & Hungry, Mdash is going to show the Bay Area and the world that it is his turn. Many recognize Mdash's name from NBD's Preliminary Hearing, released in 1999, and Collector's Item, released in 2003. He has created quite a fan base for himself worldwide.

Having grown up in Vallejo's rough Country Club Crest, Mdash has the street credibility to be taken serious as a product of these Bay Area streets. Coming up around Mac Dre, PSD, The Mac (RIP) and Dubee, MDash saw what other rappers were doing and decided to put his own spin on it; partying and smoking weed.

Recognizing that mixtapes were a great way to keep yourself in the public's eye, NBD released Derogatory Statements, a free mixtape given to over 2000 people. Responding to the positive fan reaction to Derogatory Statements, Mdash released "Grits and Gravy in October, another hot mixtape fans are raving about.

Following the success of "Grits & Gravy", Mdash is now set to release his debut solo album, Po, Broke & Hunrgy, with features from San Quinn, Cellski, The Jacka, JT The Bigga Figga, Awax, Sean T, The Game, Prohoezhack, Mista Cane, and more.

You can also find Mdash on numerous compilations and mixtapes, including Dj Krebb-Star Presents Worldwide Game, KVE Presents Plantin Seeds, Nocturnal Hustlers-Nocturnal Dankin ,Beats By The Bay Soundtrack, bart 2 tha 91siccness Compilation, and Hustlin City to City.
