Johnnie Cochran, probably the most famous lawyer in America after Perry Mason, will be at Davis-Kidd Booksellers Wednesday at 6 p.m. to discuss and sign his memoir, A Lawyer's Life (St. Martin's Press, $25.95). Though notorious as the leader of the "dream team" defense of O. J. Simpson, Cochran has also had as clients Michael Jackson, Jim Brown, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tupac Shakur, Reginald Denny and Abner Louima.
