It seemed like only a matter of time and it has happened. Eminem has launched a retaliatory attack on Source Co-Owner Benzino. The two new diss tracks are featured on the new DJ Kay Slay Mixtape. The beef began a few weeks back when Benzino surprised many people and released diss tracks aimed at Eminem. In reply, Eminem took shots at Benzino during a radio show hosted by Shady Records labelmate 50 Cent. The Benzino tracks were not replied to on wax until now.

Eminem predictably attacks Benzino's role at The Source Magazine, and the obvious conflict of interest stating that 'When Unsigned Hype column in the Source was like the only source of life, when the Mics used to mean something, a 4 was like, you were the shit, now it's like the least you get, a 3 and a half and you a piece of shit, 4 and a half or 5 means you Jigga, Biggie, Nas or Benzino'

He continues the attack with 'No more Source for street cred, them days is dead, Ray got AK's to Dave Mayes' head, every issue theres an 8 page Made Men spread'. From there Eminem attacks Benzino personally, targeting his not so hot Hiphop career and his past track record. One of the final lines leaves a clear message 'Who has the last laugh?, yea Aftermath, so on behalf of our whole staff, kiss our ass ... hole cracks, we'll never fall back, just know that'

Well, some thought Eminem wouldn't even address the situation, some thought he would come and crush Benzino, some thought he would be too scared too say a word. Now it is out. What's next? Will we see Benzino reply again? You can download the track here.
