Launch report that Snoop Dogg hosted an album listening session this Monday (November 11th) in preperation for the release of his sixth album, Paid The Cost To Be The Boss. The session was held at the Priority/Capitol Records office in Hollywood. Snoop spoke before playing the 21 tracks saying this was his most independent release so far : "I did this record without being under Dr. Dre's wings or Master P's wings or nobody's wings, i did it on my own two feet. And this record speaks for itself."
The album is set to be released on November 26th and features Jay-Z, Ludacris, Redman and of course some of Snoops very own label mates and westcoast acts - Mr. Kane, Soopafly, E-White, Latoiya Williams, Nate Dogg, Lil' Half Dead, Goldie Loc, and the Lady Of Rage. Production on this release is handled by - The Neptunes, Fred Wreck, E-Swift, Meech Wells, Jellyroll, Hi-Tek, Just Blaze, Battlecat, LT Hutton, DJ Premier, DJ Pooh, and Josef Limeberg.
