Rap veteran Kool G Rap will release his much delayed new album, The Giancana Story, on November 12 via Rawkus Records and Koch Entertainment. Alan Grunblatt, executive vice-president of Koch, said of the forthcoming release, "G Rap is one of my favorite lyricists ever. I've worked with him on M.O.P.'s 'Stick To Ya Gunz,' and now I'm thrilled to be working with him again."

The Giancana Story features the production of Ghetto Pros, DJ Premier, L.E.S., and Buckwild, with guest appearances by Capone-N-Noreaga - who appear on the remix of "My Life" - as well as Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Michael Stipe of R.E.M., and Blackchild. Kool G Rap shared what fans can expect from The Giancana Story, saying, "As far as putting a song together, they're gonna hear G Rap at his best."
