1720 Entertainment hip hop trio C-SIDE nabs the #8 spot for phones/requests on Sirius Satellite Radio’s “Hot Jamz” show chart this week with their current single “Boyfriend, Girlfriend,” beating out Ciara/50 Cent and Jagged Edge/Ashanti.  “Boyfriend, Girlfriend” is the second single for C-SIDE who scored a “Top 5 Most Played” Myspace track last year with “myspace.freak.”  C-SIDE will release a 3-song "Class In Session: The Boyfriend/Girlfriend EP” featuring “Boyfriend, Girlfriend,” “myspace.freak,” and “$1000 Car” via iTunes in September, with a full-length album to follow in early 2008.

“Boyfriend, Girlfriend” currently boasts over 10M in radio audience across 4 different formats, up from 6M just 2 weeks ago. C-SIDE continues its lock on as one of the Top Independent Artists on the site with well with over 1.7M spins, 450K profile views and 26K friends.

Since forming C-SIDE six years ago, Kenny Kold, Gator and Bo-Q have sold over 60,000 units independently. They’ve also made a name for themselves by producing records for everyone from Ludacris and TI, to Lil’ Mama and Dem Franchise Boyz.
