Although Miami based rapper Pitbull has made a name for himself as a more party-oriented MC, his new album El Mariel tackles the present political climate, including the subversive history of Cuban-Americans as well as immigration reform.
"We live in a country, land of opportunity, home of the free, United States of America— that has been built on immigrants. And then you're going to be inhuman and unjust and strip somebody of their roots as soon as they step into your country, not even giving them a chance to have the opportunity to live the American dream," Pitbull tells URGE.
