On May 23rd, Blender magazine, in partnership with DKNY Jeans, will celebrate its milestone fifth anniversary issue with a Birthday Blowout at Studio 450 in Manhattan. The party, also sponsored by Ford Mustang, Virgin Mobile and Patron Tequila, will feature live performances from legendary rapper Ghostface Killah, London's indie-rock sensation Art Brut and a DJ set from New York's hipster elite, The MisShapes.
Live music and great denim go hand in hand, so who better to co-present Blender's Birthday Blowout event than DKNY Jeans. The DKNY Jeans brand has become a favorite in the music industry due to its support of artists both established and upcoming. VIP guests in attendance at Blender's 5th Anniversary event will be treated to a night of DKNY Jeans' sponsored music and magic under the Manhattan sky. Industry insiders will also catch a look at the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 (parked on the red carpet and indulge in free-flowing Patron cocktails and an assortment of birthday-party staples: cake, ice cream, party favors!
Inside Studio 450, guests will feel as if they've stepped into the pages of Blender, with larger-than-life image galleries highlighting the outlandish personalities and stories that have graced the magazine over the last 5 years. The venue's roof deck, overlooking Manhattan's Hudson River, will feature luxuriously detailed cabanas where guests can lounge, relax and enjoy the music and the spring weather.
