Emerging Miami-based label SouthBeat Records announced today that they have inked a production and distribution deal with independent distributor Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA).

"It just feels great to know that the incredible catalogue of music we've been creating over the last year and half will have an outlet," says SouthBeat CEO and President Gregory Frankel. "ADA's independent mindset and major label muscle fits our profile perfectly."

Andy Allen, ADA President, concurs stating that "after meeting Greg Frankel and his staff, and hearing the music, I knew this was a unique distribution opportunity. Greg has some great marketing ideas and a real commitment to quality music," said Allen. "We're pleased he selected ADA as his distribution partner."

Home to hit maker producer Jim Jonsin, SouthBeat's roster includes R&B artist J-Shin, Latin Pop artist Rayito, rappers Tampa Tony and Wrekonize, hip-hop duo Mayday and singer/songwriter Shonie.

The first releases from SouthBeat through ADA will include J-Shin and Rayito (co-writer of #1 hits for Ricky Martin and David Bisbal) which will both hit stores in Summer 2006. The partnership plans to follow suit this Fall with three more releases, Wrekonize, Mayday! and Tampa Tony.

ADA is the largest U.S. independent distributor with revenue expected to be about $180 million this year.
