Two people were shot -- one fatally -- outside a Detroit night club early Thursday morning during a hip-hop party, just two days after a shooting at a club killed rapper Proof, according to Local 4 reports.
The most recent shooting occurred outside the C-Note Lounge located at Van Dyke Avenue and Hollywood Street at about 1:30 a.m., according to authorities. The shooting occurred during a hip-hop record release party, Local 4 reported.
Police said the fight likely started over a woman.
One of the victims died, and the other was being treated at St. John Hospital, the station reported. The names of the victims have not been released.
No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate.
Rapper Proof, whose real name was Deshaun Holton, was killed in a shooting at the CCC after-hours club early Tuesday morning, according to police. A second victim, former Army Sgt. Keith Bender Jr., remains hospitalized on life support.
