Multi-Media company, Hustle., and hip hop/rap DJ Whoo Kid announced today that they have inked a joint venture with New York based company Koch Entertainment to distribute Rewind DVD Magazine.
"I was excited to sign this deal because it has all the key components," said Bob Perry, VP of A & R at Koch Records. "It's a great product and DJ Whoo Kid and Hustle. are the marketing teams behind some of hip-hop's biggest stars. We know that the Rewind DVD Magazine will be the premier of its kind."
Rewind DVD Magazine is a high-quality video magazine, which will cover all facets of the marriage between hip-hop and pop culture. "There's definitely a need in the marketplace for a great quality video magazine like this. We are gonna fill that void," said Datu Faison COO of Hustle. Rewind DVD, will be available nationwide this summer.
"The first one went triple platinum and was a cult classic which created all the copy cats," said DJ Whoo Kid. "I'm already known for putting out the hottest music in the street, now I can show people the behind the scenes in the daily life of their favorite stars." Notables on the forthcoming Rewind DVD include superstar Kanye West, real estate mogul Donald Trump, Mase, and Oscar winning group 3-6 Mafia.
"We are very excited about this new venture. Rewind DVD is taking this medium to the next level," said John Monopoly, Co-CEO of Hustle.
