One of New Orleans most successful rap artist has taken on his hometown's mayor. Juvenile says he resents the Chocolate City comment made by Ray Nagin a month ago.
The platinum selling artist says he believes Nagins words are politically motivated and devised to help him win re-election in the crescent city.
Nagin made the controversial comments last month during a black history speech. Juvenile says in New Orleans there are whites and blacks that get along and are in the same boat. Nagins words would only divide the already traumatized people of the city according to Juvenile.
In related news, the rapper who just released an album called Reality Check, says he's currently rebuilding his home in New Orleans and he's going back.
Nagin has long since apologized for his comments which made nationwide news. Juvenile has been staying in Houston since Katrina tore through New Orleans.
