Driving with a suspended license is what hip-hop/rap artist DMX was scheduled to appear in court for Wednesday in a New York city court.
Renee Hill, his attorney stated he flew back from Europe to New York as to make his court date, but failed to appear for his court date because he was, "very ill." His lawyers stated the illness may have been brought on by food poisoning.
Noted by the prosecutor, DMX's court dates have been rescheduled many times since the 2005 incident were the Dodge Magnum crashed into another vehicle on the Bronx's Major Deegan Expressway in April. The crash pushed the woman's car into an unmarked police vehicle carrying two police officers.
Judge George Villegas set a deadline of Monday for DMX to show up regarding this court appearance. If he fails to appear Monday, the judge plans to issue a warrant for the rap artists arrest.
Although DMX had his pregnant wife and kids were with him in the car, no one was seriously injured. DMX was then taken into custody for driving with a suspended drivers license. He was then ticketed and issued a summons to appear before a judge in court.
