Diva Mariah Carey has hit out against badboy rapper Eminem, after it was reported that he has been playing a personal answerphone message she left for him, on stage during his concerts. Apparently Eminem, who is currently on his third Anger Management tour, has been playing a recording of Mariah's message, which is supposed to have been left after their alleged relationship four years ago. During the concerts the rapper, also known as Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers, has been playing an excerpt of Mariah's hit song, We Belong Together, before playing the voicemail. Fans at the concert can hear what is claimed to be a desperate Mariah saying: "I heard you were getting back with your ex-wife. Why won't you see me? Why won't you call me? You're not calling me." This is followed, delightfully, by Marshall pretending to be sick, before launching into his song, Puke. Mariah's manager, Benny Medina, told the New York Post: "While we appreciate Eminem as an artist, lately his work has seemed tasteless and unnecessarily mean-spirited. "The public seems to agree - just look at his declining record and concert ticket sales." Though Mariah has always denied that they were ever an item, Eminem admitted in 2002 that something had been going on, but it failed because he didn't "like her as a person".
