ODESSA, Mo. (AP) - Rap and hip-hop artist Eminem will proceed with tonight's scheduled concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver, despite a tour-bus crash in Missouri that sent 12 people to hospitals. The crash occurred on Interstate 70 last night near Odessa, Missouri, about 30 miles east of Kansas City.
The bus was carrying people associated with the rapper's "Anger Management Tour 3," but the artist himself was not on board. Missouri Highway Patrol officials say the bus went off the pavement, then swerved back and struck two tractor-trailers before tipping over, triggering a six-vehicle chain-reaction crash. Some of those hurt were flown to area hospitals, but none of the injuries was believed to be life-threatening. MTV.com reports the tour bus passengers included Eminem's D-J, "Alchemist," along with "Stat Quo," Eminem's latest protege, from Atlanta.
