Legendary rap group Public Enemy's new film "London Calling" follows 15 years of PE in London. Beginning in the mid 1980s, PE made their first visit to the UK and many times over the years.
The film, features exclusive concert footage and extensive interviews with Chuck D, Flav, Griff and members of Public Enemy along with the band 7th Octave.
The group travels in the UK takes them from the Tops of the Pops to the Beatles recording studio.
London Calling was filmed by Robert Patton Spruill in 2004, he is a Boston film director who helmed PE and Confrontation Camp videos. In addition, BET Producer Jon Marc Sandifer also directed and shot film segments in 2002.
London Calling will be seen on the film festival circuit beginning in January 2005 and will be released through Creamwerks/Image Entertainment. For more information contact info@rapstation.com
