Rapper Ja Rule will appear in a Toronto court Monday morning to face assault charges, Toronto police said in a release.
The megastar, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, turned himself into police early Monday. Police said the charges stem from an incident at a Toronto nightclub on June 5th. Atkins, 28, is charged with assault causing bodily harm.
