Ice Cube has blamed former American President Ronald Reagan for the gradual decline of the nation's inner cities.
The rapper-turned-actor believes that since former screen star Reagan took on his reigning role in 1981, things have only taken a continual turn for the worse in America's urban areas - with no president after him making any moves to address it.
He says, "I haven't been happy with any president domestically, because the inner cities keep getting worse.
"When Reaganomics came in, everything left. Everything that kept us halfway decent and off the streets was gone. The parks started getting taken over by gangs.
"There was no more Pop Warner football, no more baseball. Since then, nothing has ever been put back. No one helps the inner city. All the presidents fail when it comes to that."
