Eminem's ex-wife was sentenced to serve at least a month in jail Thursday for using cocaine while on probation.

Circuit Judge Edward Servitto ordered Kimberly Mathers to serve 30 days in the Macomb County Jail and then be transferred to an inpatient substance abuse treatment program for an additional 90 days.

Mathers, who's been the target of some of the rapper's songs, admitted a week ago to her probation agent that she was using cocaine, the Michigan Department of Corrections has said.

She tested positive for the drug after taking a urine test during a Jan. 29 meeting with the probation agent. She missed a scheduled meeting last week but later met with the agent and admitted using cocaine, the corrections department said.

Mathers was sentenced Jan. 21 to two years' probation after pleading guilty to charges of possessing 25 grams or less of cocaine and failing to give adequate space to an emergency vehicle. The charges came from a June traffic stop in St. Clair Shores.

Defense attorney Michael Sinutko didn't immediately return a telephone message left Thursday morning at his office.

Mathers and Eminem, whose legal name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, have a daughter, Hailie Jade. Eminem has rapped in his songs about killing his ex-wife; in "'97 Bonnie and Clyde," he talks about stuffing her body in a trunk.
