Despite his untimely death in 1996, Tupac Shakur maintained his grip as the best selling hip-hop artist in history with the certification of his latest pair of albums. "Better Dayz" was certified double Platinum in January while "Resurrection," the companion album from his biopic, was recently certified Platinum for sales of more than one million copies.
