*Sean “P. Diddy” Combs must be feeling really lucky these days. He beat the gun possession charge in the nightclub shooting in 1999 and now he’s getting away with murder.
Tuesday, a federal judge tossed out a lawsuit against P. Diddy in which a former business partner attempted to implicate the rap mogul in two murders. Manhattan judge Jed Rakoff said the civil racketeering lawsuit had a "limitless number of deficiencies."
"It would take me far more time than any judge has to describe all the deficiencies in this complaint," Rakoff said.
The $25 million suit was brought by Kirk Burrowes, a former president of Bay Boy Entertainment. Burrowes accused Combs of threatening him with a baseball bat in 1996 while forcing him to sign over a 25 percent interest in Bad Boy Entertainment. He also claimed Combs and Bad Boy Entertainment were behind the slayings of rap star Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight's bodyguard Jai "Big Jake" Hassan.
Diddy’s attorney’s, Benjamin Brafman and Jonathan Davis, both view this lawsuit as a "legalized form of extortion." But Burrowes still vows to pursue his allegations in a new lawsuit he says he plans to file in state court.
