Fed-X (Orindall Jack) of The Mob Figaz is in a critical condition after being shot in the head on Wednesday. Orindall Jack and Benolter Gambles were shot at about 11 a.m. Wednesday outside Gambles' apartment in Blue Rock Village in the 2000 block of Ascot Parkway. Jack's infant daughter was with him at the time of the shooting, but she was not injured.
Fed-X is part of the group Mob Figaz with AP-9, Hustla, Ridah and The Jacka. Benolter Gambles raps under the name BG and has worked with Killa Tay and Coz Pacino.
Gambles upstairs neighbor, 27-year-old Pierre Smith was arrested for attempted murder, his brother Kareem D. Smith was also arrested. Pierre Smith raps under the name Pimp P Mack and released an album in 1998 called The Total Package which featured O.Z, Levitti and others. Kareem D. Smith, was charged in August 1997 with the armed robbery and assault of rapper Young Lay (Lathan Williams).
