Wu Tang's Rza is set to go on a nation wide tour beginning Sunday, November 2nd in Chicago and ending Monday, December 8th in Burlington, VT in support of his latest release Birth of a Prince released in Wu Records/ Sanctuary.
Steve Jones of USA Today gives BIRTH OF A PRINCE 3 ½ stars and says of RZA and the CD: "RZA has created his most personal work to date. His eclectic beats are typically grimy and soulful, underpinning edgy tales about growing up in poverty (Grits), life on the streets (The Birth, Whistle) and his spiritual philosophy (A Day to God Is 1,000 Years). RZA, who also scored Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, delivers an album of sonic and lyrical diversity that has more than just rhymes."
The lead single for the new album, "We Pop," featuring fellow Wu brother ODB has just been added to BET. RZA will also be making TV appearance on The Carson Daly Show on November 5th and Showtime at the Apollo on November 15th.
Also, RZA did the musical score for Kill Bill Vol. 1, which is in movie theaters and is doing great. Kill Bill Vol. 2 will be in theaters next year, which RZA did the score for as well.
