But hardcore Missy recovered in time for Sean Paul's aftershow party later that night. The rap star turned up at the Edinburgh Arena nightclub with her entourage.

But the singer was clearly still in pain from earlier in the day but, like the true star she is, she chatted with friends and fans, as well as host Sean.

And, typically, she soon got back into the swing of things, taking the microphone from the DJ and MC-ed to the cheers of the crowd in the packed venue.

One insider tells us: "She absolutely rocked the club and had everyone up and dancing like idiots.

"It's well known Missy's a real party animal but she was up there shaking around like a mad woman. She's wicked!"
