50 Cent has declined Nation Of Islam figurehead Minister Louis Farrakhan's invitation to meet.
Farrakhan met earlier in the week with Ja Rule, who has been engaged in a long-running feud with 50 Cent, in a bid to divert further tension between the artists and their fans.
However, despite Farrakhan's confidence that 50 Cent would meet with him, the rapper has told a Washington radio station that he will not make the appointment.
"As far as me meeting with Farrakhan...it's not happening," he said. "I respect and all that but it ain't going down.
"Ja put himself in the position he's in and he's doing whatever he can for publicity."
In fact, whilst Ja Rule and Irv Gotti are busy trying to settle the pair's differences 50 was furthering the feud by airing his views on Ja's latest single.
"As far as 'Clap Back', the beat's okay, but there's no clappin' going on there," he said. "You can't even understand his vocals."
Ja Rule's conversation with Minister Farrakhan will run on 85 Clear Channel radio stations on the day that the rapper's new album, 'Blood In My Eye', is released.
