Well there are some of my picks and suggestions. It is said that artist from Cali don't get the promps many deserve. And in many cases that is true. But in some cases it is a management thing. You find out about a tape or an alblum a few weeks after it drops, and that is always third or fourth hand news.

Recently there was a mixtape that dropped and it sounded like a good tape. I decided that since I requested that we be added to this DJ“s contact list, and told we were and then never informed of the drop till it was out, that I would not mention it. I figure why should I waste my time chasing info about this tape , and then to give credit to another site; so we could 'advertise' their tape for them for free. It doesn't make sense to me, so I won't do it. I figure if these guys are serious about their music they will handle it like a business.

The DJ's that I have voted for and mentioned (or suggested to you ) above, are 'real' peeps. They take their music serious and it shows in the finial product. When they tell you : “I'll have it for you as soon as it's ready” ; You can be assured that it is in your hands as soon as it is ready. Serious people put out serious music. These Westcoast DJ's deserve promp's cause they understand we are the ones that buy and support their product. When a DJ, no matter how well known he is, runs you around and doesn't really care if you have a release about his work, it doesn't say much for his work. I have decided that mixtapes and cd's that I have to hunt info on ; I'm not going to bother. Like I said ; in reality it is just free advertising and I can not see going out of my way or spending time searching for something that the DJ themself is not worried about getting out.
