Baby and his partner, Mannie Fresh, who together make-up the Big Tymers, have teamed up with R. Kelly for a new single, "Gangsta Girl." The song was produced and arranged by R. Kelly.
Mannie Fresh described the new song as a 2004 version of "Project Chick." The original "Project Chick" was a song performed by the Big Tymers and Cash Money Millionaires which was included on the 2000 release, Baller Blockin'.
"Gangsta Girl" is the second single from the Big Tymers' fourth album, Big Money Heavyweights, which will be released on November 18. The first single from the set was "This Is How We Do." Big Money Heavyweights will feature guest appearances from Beenie Man, R. Kelly, and Lil' Wayne.
In related news, Baby and R. Kelly have been working on a joint project which will be jointly released through Baby's Cash Money Records and R. Kelly's Rockland label. No release date has been set for the project which is tentatively titled, Best Of Both Worlds 2.
