The Source Awards take place tonight but 50 Cent, who's got four nominations, is snubbing them.
The magazine recently wrote a feature accusing him of being a fake, saying he only spent seven months in a boot camp for minor drug offences, not the "three to nine" year stretch he refers to in his songs. The magazine also claimed that he was so scared of a rival that he applied for a protection order.
50 has told BBC's 1Xtra that he's not bothered about what they're saying about him but because they've dissed Eminem (they called him the Elvis of rap).
He wont be turning up to the awards ceremony and he doubts whether many stars will:
"The Source, that's not even an awards show anymore. They won't have the best artists, they won't even show up. I don't have a beef with the Source magazine. The Source magazine's beef is with Eminem. Because they have a problem with Eminem, I won't be associated with their publication. Because of that, they're losing sales of their magazine. So, in order to compete, they had to do an unauthorized version, so they put me on the cover of their magazine without actually doing an interview, but I have no personal beef with them."
