C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, was convicted of 2nd degree murder which carries a mandatory life sentence. The charges stem from a January 2002 incident in which 16 year-old Steve Thomas was shot and killed in a Louisiana night club. Jurors convicted Miller despite his defense which presented nine witnesses who testified he was not the shooter. Miller’s family will attempt to appeal the ruling.
