Here the quotes from the Daz interview:
Alot of people don't realize that you produced alot of Tupac's All Eyez on Me Album, what are your thoughts on the recent releases from his estate?
They dont like me right now. I got tha Outlawz, Young Noble, he talking shit about me. You know I like it coz it lets me know that I'm on they mind ya know? You know I got songs, I'ma keep em, and ah, and then make a deal. They can turn me into what they wanna turn me into but i got a great line of respect for his mom - alot of people think i called her a bitch, but i didnt call her no bitch, I would never disrespect his momma like that and ah, but i call the rest of them muthafuckas around em a bitch, and ah, Young Noble, you gonna see me one day ... get in that ass hahaha
You obviously had a pretty good working relationship with 'Pac, tell us about that ...
Yea, I was the producer! Y'know what i mean? I was the producer and he come to me every morning to get tracks you know? We Gemini's - we just keep it crackin like that and the same thing with the Outlawz... same thing
He was described as a workaholic, was it hard for you to keep up?
Who Tupac? Nah we was doing the same thing. I was the producer, I was dealing with him, Snoop Dogg, whoever the fuck you know what i mean? Thats all I do, thats my job.
Have you ever been asked to drop a beat on a new Tupac album?
Nah they dont wanna have shit to do with me, they got what they want outta me already. All that shit on Death Row I wouldnt give a fuck about it! But i got my songs and thats what i give a fuck about... and thats what they got, i just sold them the Makaveli and Dillinger album.
So you wouldn't drop a beat on an album if they asked you?
Nah they wouldnt ask me, i know they wouldnt. When i dropped so many muthafuckin lyrics on there, they shoulda kept them. I wouldnt wanna be on there now, I'm on So So Def so it's a whole new part for me ... i'ma make this muthafuckin album, the name of the album gonna be called 'So So Gangsta'
Just wondering where you stood in the 'Pac Vs Biggie beef?
Well you know, i liked Biggie and i liked Tupac. I was friends with both of them. It had to do with all kinds of things, money and all kinds of shit, Suge ... gettin all in them muthafuckas ears ... but you see where it got everybody... nowhere. Broke or dead. But Suge Knight yea, he in jail, Tupac dead, Biggie dead, hey what the fuck? Artists over there broke as fuck, still talking shit. Kurupt over there broke as fuck. Get the Gangsta Shit DVD, then you'll see Kurupt, hoe ass on there. Hmmmm. I had a ball with Tupac man, thats an experience, that whole Death Row experience, I wouldnt trade it for the world. We was doing it and look where we at now. They play our music today like it was made yesterday. hahaha you know what I mean, that shit is 12 years old! We still in the game you know.
Here the quotes from the interview with WC:
Raptism in talks with WC
Raptism.Com: This month marks the 7 year anniversary of Tupac’s death, how do you think that affected hip hop and west coast hip hop especially?
WC: I think Tupac had a big influence on the rap game in general. His death was unfortunate, but it was a lesson as well to all of us. I think we gotta take his death as a lesson and never take for granted the artists that we have out here, you know that’s givin us this music. I think we gotta try to work with each other moreso than nailing each other. There’s a lot of old fashioned haterism going on in the game. A lot of artists don’t like to work with other artists, this producer might not like this producer or whatever,. You know, Tupac came o
