Patti LaBelle who is currently signed to Def Jam Classics, is now working on her new LP. She mentions how she loves rap even though it can be distasteful at times. Along with working with DMX on Grand Champ, she is working with Missy and Wyclef for her own album. Nelly and Snoop Dogg have both asked to work with her.

She does have a strong desire to secure Dr. Dre for her next LP. Seeing as they are both legends in their respective genres, it would seem only fitting that they do collaborate.
