Rap's lady Eve is calling in her lawyers, now that Internet rogues are trafficking in a X-rated photo of a woman they claim is her.

The 23-year-old star confided to us a few months ago that an unknown man was peddling a photo that purportedly shows a younger Eve engaging in a sex act with two other women.

"I used to strip, so it could be me," she told us at the time. "Or it could not be me. This guy, whoever he is, has tried to blackmail us with this photo."

Now a picture that shows a woman resembling Eve in a compromising pose has popped up on Web sites.

Her rep insists: "It's not a picture of her. She is upset that there's a false photo of her going around."

"The woman in the picture does not have Eve's two paw-print tattoos," notes another spokesman. "She's had those forever."

Friends of Eve, who briefly peeled when she was 17, say she's ready to bare her claws and go after the the sites.
