MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - 50 Cent won four awards Friday night at the Billboard R&B-Hip-Hop Awards, including top artist, while his mentor Eminem took home three honors, including top album.
50 Cent was honored as top artist, male artist, new artist and singles artist. Eminem won top album and rap album for "The Eminem Show," plus albums artist.
R. Kelly's single "Ignition" won top single and singles sales.
Aaliyah, who died in a Bahamas plane crash in two years ago, won the female artist award. She was nominated for five awards last year but was not among the winners.
