A Philadelphia man was arrested after he approached a New York City police officer in Manhattan and asked him for bullets so he could shoot DMX.
Reports state that Racheen Smith arrived in New York via bus and approached an NYPD officer at 4:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
He claimed to need the bullets because he wanted to kill the rapper. A subsequent search turned up a stolen unloaded .32-caliber handgun.
Smith, 6"6 and 250 pounds, thought that DMX was performing at Madison Square Garden as part of the Scream III Tour.
DMX is not a part of that tour. Smith was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
