Nate Dogg's self-titled new album, which was due out on February 25th, appears to have been pushed back. Although neither Nate Dogg or Elektra have said anything to confirm or deny this, online CD stores (including CD Universe & Play.com) have changed the release to date to "Backordered" & "T.B.A" respectively. The album is set to feature artists such as DJ Quik, Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Knoc-Turn'Al, Redman & more.
The first single, "Get Up," which was produced by DJ Quik and features Eve has been getting radio play since its premiere on mix tapes last year. With the February 25th date closing in, there is still no video for the single or any widespread promotion behind the album, which would also indictate a good reason as to why the album could be delayed. Once again this has not been confirmed by Nate or Elektra but it seems increasingly likely. More news as we get it.
