Ja Rule and Ashanti were literally booed off the field after performing "Mesmerize", but you don't go into Philly to perform at halftime when the Eagles are losing. They tricked around with the sound to try and drown out the crowd booing during the performance, but it was obvious that afterwards the rowdy and unhappy crowd wanted no part of a lovey dovey duet performed at halftime.
